Two hearts drawn one inside the other, a birthstone for each person sitting where they meet, and both names cut into the polished band underneath.
The outer heart and the inner heart are both set with a single row of small clear cubic zirconia, so the whole outline catches light. Sweeping across them is a plain mirror-polished ribbon that ends in a point at the bottom - that ribbon is the engraving face, and the two names run along it either side of a small heart. Two pear-cut simulated birthstones sit at the centre with their tips together, each held by three prongs. The pendant is 25 mm across and 24 mm tall, about the width of a thumbnail, on a slim cable chain that adjusts from 45 to 50 cm.
